A nod to a different, more experimental time, music and brain chemistry-wise, Shivadelic is our ode to the golden era of psychedelia. Fred Klimenko’s guitar solos on Shivadelic, Hipster Paradise, and the World is Ours Tonight are, to me, the perfect expression of this vibe. My oldest and dearest friend, Mike O’Brien, adds his special sauce to the guitars in Cards, while the incomparable Randonius Von Thayer nails the essence of this style with his beautiful, Baroque keys on the Greatest Gifts. Of course, things would not be the same without Bill Sotello’s bass and vocal harmonies. Thank you boyos for your talent and hard work; I appreciate and love you all.
